Privacy policy

Frames by Nia is a photography and film studio based in Timișoara, Romania, run by Sidonia and Bogdan Anghel. For any request regarding personal data, write to framesbynia@gmail.com.

• —Contact form: your name, email address, project type, optional budget range and your message. You send only what you want — we ask for nothing sensitive.
• —Technical access data: IP address, browser type, page visited and timestamp, processed by our hosting provider to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
• —Follow-up email correspondence, if the conversation continues.

There are no user accounts, we collect no payment data through the site, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

• —To reply to you and prepare a quote — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• —To keep a record of enquiries and keep the site working and secure — legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• —Publishing project photographs in our portfolio — legal basis: our clients' consent, obtained separately.

• —Contact form enquiries: up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
• —Records tied to confirmed bookings: for as long as contractual and tax obligations require.
• —Technical access data: short periods, according to our hosting provider's practices.

We do not sell or rent your data. It is accessed only by the two of us and by the providers that make the site work, acting as processors:

• —The hosting and backend infrastructure provider, where the site runs and form enquiries are stored.
• —The transactional email provider, which delivers the notification to us and the confirmation to you.
• —The studio's email provider, for follow-up correspondence.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.

We publish images from weddings, events and sessions in our portfolio and on social media only with the consent of the people involved. If you change your mind, write to us and we will remove the material from our channels, as far as we can technically control it.

• —Access to the data we hold about you, and correction of it.
• —Erasure (the “right to be forgotten”), where no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
• —Restriction of processing and the right to object.
• —Data portability, in a readable format.
• —Withdrawal of consent at any time, where processing is based on it.

Write to framesbynia@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro, or with your local supervisory authority.

We do no profiling, take no automated decisions affecting you, and never use your data for advertising.

If the way we handle data changes, we update this page and the date below.
